The Fall Edit: Preppy Edition
It's fall y'all! Okay, maybe I'm a little early, but after a year like this, I'm sure we're all ready to move on to the next season. (I may have decked out my whole house for Halloween over Labor Day weekend, don't judge me...). I've been knee deep in autumn for the past 2 weeks, so I've compiled a big ol' guide of all the things I'm digging this fall. It's a little chinoiserie, several parts preppy, and pretty much everything blue, white, and orange! Let's get cozy!
1.) L.L. Bean boots - L.L. Bean
I just bought my first pair and can't wait for it to be cold enough to break these out. These are handmade, one pair at a time, in Maine (Yes, let's say that again for the people in the back. THESE ARE STILL MADE BY HAND. How cool is that?!?). You know you're getting a quality pair of boots and you're gonna look hella cute while you stay warm and dry. Pumpkin spice latte and scarf optional.
2.) Golden Autumn Sweater - Kiel James Patrick
Golden retrievers and golden leaves seem made for each other. Such a fun take on the fair isle sweater. Take a peek at their whole collection.

3.) Vintage Original Watercolor Still Life - LemonHouseVintage on Etsy
This vintage painting was sourced from an estate sale of a watercolor artist and would look so lovely with farmhouse decor. The colors are super vibrant and so much fun, plus you can never have enough original artwork in your home.
4.) Chinoiserie Blue and White Ghosts Travel Tumbler- TaylorBeachDesign on Etsy
This travel tumbler is so stinkin' adorable y'all. Blue and white + ghosts = my favorite things.
5.) Chinoiserie Painted Pumpkins - JOSILPaperie on Etsy
Love a good faux pumpkin. I never have to worry about it rotting and it will stay pretty year after year. Plus, these are just so darling! What more could you ask for?
6.) Chinoiserie Pumpkin Tags - TheRefinedDetail on Etsy
These gingham tags are so sweet and would be perfect for wrapping around a Thanksgiving hostess gift like a bottle of wine or a candle.
7.) Hello Fall Pillow - Zazzle
This pillow pretty much sums up how i'm feeling lately. I love graphic pillows and think they're so cute on a statement chair.
8.) Chinoiserie Plate Pillow - Annechovie on Etsy
I adore bright and colorful home decor and this pillow certainly fits the bill. That combo of pumpkin orange and soothing blue gives me all the heart eyes.
9.) The Apple Jumper - Kiel James Patrick
I'm really into overalls this year. Like, really into overalls. Maybe I'm channeling my inner Joanna Gaines, otherwise, this jumper is the best of both worlds, cute, but super easy to wear. This one features the most adorable embroidered apples, which makes this the outfit of choice for apple picking, visiting the farmers market, etc... Just imagine how cute this would be paired with tights and Hunter boots!
10.) Fall Collection Shells - BeadStudioandDesign on Etsy
How pretty would these be scattered around an autumn tablescape? I love the hints of chinoiserie and the nod to coastal decor. These would be a perfect fit in my decor.
11.) Velvet Pumpkins - YourHeartsContent on Etsy
I first came across velvet pumpkins last October and was very intrigued. Anytime I can buy something that doesn't have to be replaced the next year, I'm in. These come in a set of 3, which is even better! Instant grouping!
12.) Loren Rug - Loloi
I just purchased this rug for my youngest son's bedroom and it is definitely love! The burnt oranges, terra cottas, and splashes of french blue are perfect for fall and would be a quick way to make an entryway more fall festive. Did I mention it is stain resistant!
13.) Ginger Jars - Chairish
I love groupings of ginger jars, like this one. Pair a few in different sizes and shapes on a mantle with some mini pumpkins and a wood bead garland.
14.) Handpainted Chinoiserie Corks - Lemon House Design
Did someone say "wine"? Made from vintage corks and hand painted, each one is unique. These place card holders, with included blank cards, are sure to impress your dinner party guests. When you're not entertaining, these make a great bowl filler! How gorgeous would these be in an entryway in a blue and white vessel?
15.) Camp Blankets - Pendleton
I'm OBSESSED with camp blankets right now. I've started a small collection that I'm keeping in our nursery in a cute stack. I'm imagining cozy evenings wrapping ourselves up and reading bedtime stories, or taking them out to the fire pit to roast smores (in reality, these will most likely be used in blanket forts for the boys). This plaid wool blanket is so subtly fall and yet still works with a blue and white color scheme.
This is one of the blankets that I bought and absolutely love the Hudson Bay style stripes. If I could, I would wrap myself, my car, and my home in these stripes;)
16.) Wood and Seashell Necklace - BeachPleaseCreations on Etsy
I may be stuck on fall, but my love of all things coastal never dies. This handmade necklace marries my loves perfectly. Wood beads add that fall warmth and would pair so nicely with a blanket scarf poncho, black turtleneck, jeans and riding boots.
Do you have anything in particular you're crushing on this fall? Let me know in the comments! I'm always looking for another obsession:)
